James Earl Cox III, Julie Buchanan
You’re a nervous little scamp, standing near the entrance to Seaview Pier, shifting from foot to foot, Ferris wheel glowing against the rising sun. Where is she? You wipe your brow.
I Can Feel It Coming in the Air Tonight is a 30 minute interactive fiction game by James Earl Cox III with soundscapes by Julie Buchanan. With diegetic field recordings, the story switches between a young couple’s first date and a military tribunal, juxtaposing the nervous beginnings of a new love with a transcribed recounting of past actions.
